The Durands have been working together for decades towards the goal of protecting their wildlife and forest, and continue to do so today hoping to find a sustainable future in ecotourism. Farmers, medicinal experts, boat drivers, and professional guides, they are a diverse and fascinating clan, who are at the forefront of grassroots conservation.
